Jeddah Airport Pickup Guide: Where to Meet Your Driver
Landing at Jeddah for Umrah is easy once you know the steps. This guide explains what happens after you land at King Abdulaziz International Airport, where your BestWay driver meets you, and what to do if your flight is early or late.
Step by step: from landing to your hotel
Before you fly: send your details
Message us on WhatsApp with your flight number, arrival date, hotel name and number of passengers and bags. We confirm the vehicle and the fixed price, and we track your flight so a delay does not cancel your pickup.
On arrival: immigration and baggage
After landing you go through immigration and collect your bags. At busy times such as Ramadan and school holidays this can take one to three hours, so there is no need to rush. Your driver follows your flight and waits for you.
Tell us you have landed
Send a short WhatsApp message when you land or when you have your bags. Your driver will message you the exact place to meet in the arrivals area, so you do not have to search.
Meet your driver at arrivals
Your driver waits in the arrivals area after customs, helps with luggage and walks you to the vehicle. We share his name and number before you land, so you know who to look for.
Drive to your hotel
Your private, air-conditioned vehicle takes you to your hotel. It is about an hour to an hour and a half to Makkah and four to four and a half hours to Madinah. You pay when you reach your destination, with no prepayment.
Which terminal will I arrive at?
Pilgrims may arrive at the main international terminal or, in busy pilgrimage periods, at the dedicated Hajj Terminal, depending on the airline and the season. Terminal arrangements change, so share your flight number and we will confirm the meeting point with you before you land.
Tips for your arrival

- Get a local SIM or eSIM so you can message your driver straight after landing.
- Keep your hotel name and address in English and Arabic on your phone.
- Carry a little Saudi riyal cash for small purchases.
- If your flight lands very early or very late, tell us. We adjust the pickup time at no charge.
